I founded and lead Fresh Start, a re-entry program I developed for inmates at the Summit County Jail, focused on preparing individuals for successful reintegration into the community. I teach weekly classes covering resume building, job search strategy, interview skills, employer expectations, and real-world planning for housing, transportation, and stability after release.
Working with a highly engaged group of participants, I facilitate both group discussions and one-on-one coaching—helping them identify strengths, build confidence, and develop actionable plans for employment. I’ve also created custom materials, mock interview scripts, certificates of completion, and partnerships with local employers to support their transition.
This program aims to reduce recidivism by giving participants practical tools, professional guidance, and a positive path forward as they prepare for release.

The National Ability Center empowers individuals of all abilities through adaptive sport, recreation, and educational programs. I supported the organization’s mission by partnering with the marketing team to strengthen their digital foundations and measurement capabilities.
Key Contributions:
As a hands-on volunteer, I helped deliver adaptive recreation experiences that make outdoor adventure accessible to individuals of all abilities. I also volunteered for the NAC’s Summit Challenge, a fully supported cycling event through Summit and Wasatch counties that raises funds to expand access to adaptive programming.
