EXECUTIVE BIOGRAPHY

 

Jason Bertrand is a seasoned ecommerce and digital marketing executive with a track record of accelerating DTC growth for both established brands and high-potential startups. He currently serves as Vice President of Ecommerce at Purple Innovation, where he is part of the Senior Leadership Team and leads digital strategy across Purple.com and Amazon. His work spans site experience, CRM, performance marketing, and ecommerce operations for a $180M+ online business.


Jason previously held ecommerce and digital marketing roles at Under Armour, Skullcandy, and Cariloha, focusing on brand building, go-to-market strategy, and customer retention across multiple digital channels. His experience includes leading performance marketing, CRM, SEO, paid media, and Amazon advertising, while supporting cross-functional teams to deliver impactful online experiences. At each brand, he played a key role in evolving the digital presence and strengthening customer connections.


As an independent consultant, Jason has worked with a range of DTC brands—including Brydge (consumer electronics), Cratejoy (marketplace for subscription boxes), Baliston (footwear startup), Kiki De Montparnasse (luxury lingerie and intimate apparel), and Armed Forces Gear (military-inspired apparel and accessories)—to develop ecommerce strategies, improve conversion, and optimize customer acquisition.


He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
